My name is Todd Harney, and for as long as I can remember, yard work has been part of my life. I grew up in a family where summer vacations meant projects around the house — not sleeping in or playing video games. My dad worked in construction and was a perfectionist in everything he did. If we were going to do something, we were going to do it right. That mindset stuck with me.

Over the years, friends and family have told me more times than I can count that I should landscape professionally. I’ve always been the guy helping with yard renovations, building patios, leveling lawns, installing irrigation, or just making things look better than they did before. What started as personal projects turned into something I genuinely love doing — and something I take a lot of pride in.

Landscape Surgeon was born out of a simple idea: outdoor spaces deserve the same level of care and craftsmanship as the homes they surround. In an industry that often prioritizes speed and volume, I take a more deliberate approach. I focus on precision, clean finishes, and long-term results — not shortcuts.

I’m based here in the Treasure Valley, where I work with homeowners who care about details, healthy lawns, and well-defined outdoor spaces. My services are intentionally focused and seasonally planned so I can give every project the time and attention it deserves.

Outside of landscaping, I’m a husband and a dad to two young boys. One of my biggest goals is to raise them with the same appreciation for hard work and craftsmanship that I was taught growing up. Landscape Surgeon isn’t just about building better yards — it’s about building something meaningful that I can be proud of and pass on.

At the end of the day, I treat every project as if it were my own home. I believe in doing things right the first time, respecting your investment, and delivering results that truly last.
